August was a quiet and uneventful month. The plane flew for 32 hours, which wasn’t quite enough to break even. The turn coordinator continued to be a problem, and was replaced under warranty again. The intermittent glideslope problem finally got solved. And…that was it. I was fortunate that repairs were under $500 for the month which is the best maintenance month I’ve had yet. Still, the turn coordinator rankles me. TGH Aviation in Auburn, CA did the overhaul on the turn coordinator and I will not ever be using them again!
Happy flying!
